■ Webmaster's Foreword [Poutho Family-Choong Minority Online] is the former of [Pouchoong Online]，it was established on 16th, November, 2001 and officially applied its international webside on 29th,January, 2002. Compared with other minority groups, the Choong(officially known as Zhuang) Online was coming a little too late in spite of its biggest population among the minority groups of China, which includes 18 million Choong(Zhuang) minorities and 2.8 million Pu-iui(Bouyei) minorities. As a youngster of this group, I felt anxious and helpless. And the sense of responsibility propels me forward without hesitation to take the lead. Although it is new to me now, that is my great honor if I can offer a few commonplace remarks by way of introductions. Notes:
“Rao” was called by the minority of the segment of Tai who lived in Guangxi
Zhuang Autonomous Region, Guizhou and Yunnan and Guangdong provinces and
the Southwest part of China in the ancient time. "Pou" in Choong
or Pu-iui Languages means "people" or be used as personal pronoun.
“Rao” means “our”, so "PouRao" in the modern Choong or Pu-iui
language means “our people”.
